With the intimacy of a bed & breakfast but the privacy and amenities you have come to expect of bespoke accommodations, welcome to a suite in my summer home! Purpose built with private entrance, ensuite bath, king bed or twin singles, in room breakfast options & breathtaking views from your easy chair. For those who like to socialize we offer the communal aspects of a shared indoor/outdoor kitchen, library, & laundry. Donna is always available to act as your travel advisor.
Our Story
The building itself reflects Donna's vision and dedication to creating a comfortable and beautiful space. Every detail, from the thoughtfully curated interiors to the modern comforts like heated shower floors, has been carefully designed to ensure a relaxing stay.
Donna had a long career in both design and hospitality. She is also a global traveller. All of these experiences came together when she designed The Rooms at Woody Point and The Rooms Next Door.

Whether you're looking for modern boutique comfort or a relaxed, home-like retreat, our two properties offer the perfect place to stay while exploring Gros Morne National Park. The Rooms at Woody Point features stylish, thoughtfully designed rooms with private decks and stunning views of Bonne Bay & the Tablelands. Just steps away, The Rooms Next Door offers exceptional comfort, spectacular view, & warm Newfoundland hospitality—right in the heart of Woody Point.
Please Note: Room assignment around here is a bit like solving a Rubik’s Cube — one change (like length of stay, group size, or a third-party booking) and everything else has to shift. Because of these moving pieces, we aren’t able to guarantee specific suites at the time of booking.
That said, all of our rooms — in both properties — are identical in layout and amenities. They all feature king beds (convertible to twins), water views from the deck, and in most cases, a view from inside as well.
We reserve the right to assign rooms as needed to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Thanks for understanding — and trust us, no matter where you land, the view’s pretty great.

Like a Speakeasy, we are not open to the general public; only guests of The Rooms At Woody Point (and their friends) may participate. We serve on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday by reservation only.

Getting Here
Travel Route 430 from Deer Lake to Wiltondale; turn on to route 431 and continue to the First Stop sign in Woody Point. Go straight. Your second left is Church Lane. Go up Church, past the cemetery. Turn right on The Road to the Rooms. The office is in the lower building at the front, ground level.
